Claire has an array of professional experience working in theatre, radio & television. Her credits include ‘Inside Holloway,’ as Edith Thompson (Channel five), ‘Criminal histories’ as Margaret Flower (BBC East Midlands) and various roles with Notts TV. Her theatre credits include Southwark Playhouse, Mansfield Palace Theatre, Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, Nottingham NEAT festival 2016 and Edinburgh Fringe 2014. She has worked in various voice over roles, including BBC radio Nottingham and BFBS radio.
After completing her degree in applied theatre studies, Claire continued to study and complete her post graduate certificate in museum and heritage management with Nottingham Trent University. Allowing her to gain further skills and experience as a freelance practitioner working within the heritage sector. She has utilised her drama skills to devise creative educational sessions, storytelling performances and historical interpretations for various museums. Claire has previously worked with the National Civil War Centre, Ancient Wood, National justice museum, Stamford Georgian festival and Papplewick pumping station.
